The C42 is used as a tourer, tow plane, trainer, with floats, ski and as a spray plane. It is a typical two-seater shoulder wing aircraft, robust and reliable. It has won national championships several times.

Interesting facts

Meanwhile proven in more than 30 countries worldwide, the C42 series has been continuously developed further. The design of the cowling with optimised aerodynamics stands out and the large, standard heated cabin offers a very comfortable seating position.

The entry through wide-opening doors is very convenient and the all-round visibility is exemplary. The integrated, coupled oil/water cooling system with counter-flow heat exchanger, NACA inlet and direct air supply to the carburettors give the ROTAX engines the best continuous performance and durability.

The panel design with storage trays has plenty of space for avionics while maintaining the outstanding field of view. Brake systems from Magura, Tost and Beringer are available as an option, depending on the application.

The exhaust system is made of stainless steel as standard. The large luggage compartment provides optimum access for easy loading and inspection. Various high-quality interior designs allow for a wide range of design options.
